Private Beta — By Invitation Only

Spatial Communications is currently in a small, private beta through Apple's TestFlight. Invited testers receive an email from TestFlight with everything they need to install the app on Apple Vision Pro.

Invitations come directly from Apple's TestFlight. We never post a public beta link, so treat any other link as unofficial.

What works with and without a phone

On Apple Vision Pro alone

Gmail (up to five accounts, floating windows, compose and reply), Notes & Reminders with reminder alerts, the calendar and clock, and Throw Mode with Game Mode all work without any phone. Notes and reminders are stored only on your Apple Vision Pro.

With the optional Android companion

Install Spatial Companion on a compatible Android phone and pair it with Spatial Communications to see your Google Messages conversations on the headset and reply to them, plus optional SMS history, SMS sending and contact names. The phone and headset talk directly over your local network with end-to-end encryption.

Requirements

ForYou need
Spatial CommunicationsApple Vision Pro with visionOS 26 or later. During the private beta: an invitation from TestFlight and Apple's free TestFlight app.
Gmail (optional)A Gmail account. Google currently shows an “unverified app” notice at sign-in; see Support.
Spatial Companion (optional)An Android phone with Android 13 or later and Google Messages, on the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple Vision Pro. Tested on a Samsung Galaxy foldable running Android 17; other phones haven't been tested yet.

Setting up the Android companion

These steps apply once the Android download is available on this page. Download Spatial Companion only from vipervrandtech.com. Keep Google Play Protect and your phone's other security protections turned on.

  1. Download the APK from this page on your Android phone. Optionally compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one listed here.
  2. Install it. Android asks whether to let your browser (or file manager) install unknown apps. Allow it for that one app only; you can turn the permission off again after installing.
  3. Open Spatial Companion and allow Local network, then choose Open notification access settings and turn on notification access for Spatial Companion. Because the app wasn't installed from an app store, Android may first ask you to allow restricted settings for Spatial Companion in its App info screen; this applies to Spatial Companion only.
  4. Optional permissions: SMS history, sending SMS and Contacts each have their own button with an explanation. Grant only the ones you want.
  5. Pair. On Apple Vision Pro, open the Messages panel, choose Phone, then Pair with Phone. On the phone, tap Pair Apple Vision Pro. Check that both devices show the same six-digit code and confirm on both.

Privacy & support

Your data stays on your devices.

Spatial Communications has no server of its own. Gmail data goes only between your Apple Vision Pro and Google, notes and reminders stay on your headset, and phone messages travel only over the encrypted link between your own devices.
